CATCH network groups meet regularly throughout the year. Details of the next group meetings are listed here. Groups are open to CATCH members.

Skills, Competencies & Apprenticeship Network

A network comprising training managers and HR managers of the process, energy and renewable industires in our region. The group meets to discuss issues around skills, competencies and best practices to set standards and frameworks for training.

Major Hazards

Health and Safety managers and Process Safety managers meet three times a year to cover a wide range of safety topics with help from guest speakers. The Major Hazards Group work closely with HSE colleagues and the Humber Emergency Planning Service.

Environmental Managers

Health, Safety, Environmental managers,and senior Environmental engineers meet three times a year to discuss topics such as waste management, biodiversity and environmental impact assessments. A full programme of guest speakers allows for in-depth considerations to be voiced.

Human Factors

Senior Health and Safety managers and Human Factor Specialists meet three times a year. Presentations from guest speakers include topics such as Human Factors in Design and Human Factors in Hazard Review. Specialist HSE Human Factors Colleagues meet regularly to update site achievements and progress.

Humber Engineering Managers Forum

Senior Engineering managers, core member companies and major clients meet quarterly to discuss topics of common interest. These include planning resources and major shutdowns. This group elects a chair-member and secretariat support is provided by CATCH.

Fire and Security

­­­­­Fire, Protection and Security managers meet twice a year. Presentations from guest speakers present on topics of common interest. Humberside Police and Humberside Fire Rescue Service regularly attend these meetings.

HR professionals who meet quarterly, invite guest presenters, review new legislation and share best practice on all people related matters.

Contractor Competency

The Forum meets monthly with client members of Concom attending each month and contractor members joining them bi-monthly.  The group is open to Concom members only who review, plan and monitor the audit schedule and Concom team priorities.
