February 2020:  Stakeholder Involvement in Projects

If you want projects that really deliver the benefits they promise, install and commission smoothly in operating environments and benefit the long-term competence of the organisation, then getting stakeholders involved from the outset is key.  This requires commitment and skills not always seen as traditional project team behaviour. However, the long term rewards (both financial and organisational) far outweigh the expediency of letting projects be ‘done’ to you.
