This full-time position, fixed-term to 31st March 2023 will work within an exciting collaborative project with membership organisation CATCH and eight industry partners to drive delivery of a Plan that will provide:
The appointed person will be a keen advocate for the area’s energy strengths and decarbonisation opportunities. They will develop and maintain strong relationships within the delivery partnership and particularly with the sub-contracted Chief Technologist and industry partners to harness their expertise.
The post will lead on the development and implementation of a data acquisition and usage strategy for the Humber Cluster Plan and also the commissioning, managing and deploying of a sophisticated systems data model to specify, understand and interpret modelling outputs.
The successful candidate will have a background in systems modelling, processes and data analysis, with experience of planning, monitoring and delivering services. They will have excellent analytical skills and be able to resolve complex technical problems with highly developed reasoning.

Shift Process Technician Opportunity
We are now seeking to recruit a Shift Process Technician at our Grimsby Lyocell Fibre continuous operation factory.
Working in a team, your key task is to safely operate a continuous process plant, maximising first quality fibre output, minimising waste, following written procedures to specified quality standards whilst working unsupervised. You must be able to demonstrate the highest standards with respect to safety, health & environment (SHE) and have the ability to contribute to on-going continuous improvement of both process and product ensuring the reporting of any incidents, safety or environmental, to minimise risk of recurrence
The successful candidate will have experience within a similar role, working with computer based SCADA/process control systems using control screens, historical trends and alarm logs to maintain stable operation and diagnose faults. You will have knowledge of maintaining quality standards and be able to take necessary corrective action to address out of specification results. Working within a team, you will react to, and rectify, plant breakdown or mal-operation and eventually be able to train others in areas of expertise.
You will be a self-motivated team player, with a safe and responsible approach to work who will be actively involved in developing the safety culture. You must demonstrate that you can bring the right skills and personal qualities to our Grimsby team, showing flexibility and willingness to adopt new practices and contribute in an effective and productive way. Good numeracy and IT skills are essential and experience in a similar continuous manufacturing plant would be advantageous.
The shift pattern for this role consists of 2 days, 2 nights, 4-off and provides five 17 day breaks a year. You will be required to be available for reasonable levels of overtime and call outs in order to support plant operations.
